Annual Book Sale Volunteers
A local Santa Barbara fall tradition, the Book Sale utilizes a small army of volunteers to organize the sale, transport and sorting of books, work at the sale and many other important tasks. Many Book Sale volunteers have generously donated their time at this event for ten or even twenty years! Flexible hours. Available in Santa Barbara.

Administrative Office Assistant
As an Office Assistant you learn how a non-profit organization operates as you provide support to a variety of different administrative departments. You will have great variety in your volunteer work as you help us collate materials, prepare special mailings, update databases or manage your own short-term projects. Available in Santa Barbara.

Childcare Worker NEW!
Childcare provider wanted for an ongoing support group for teen mothers in Santa Barbara. Volunteer will collaborate with other providers 2 hours per week, every Thursday from 3-5p.m., and will provide care for infants and toddlers while mothers attend group in adjoining room, coordinating snack/playtime with additional childcare worker, and advising facilitators if problems arise. Must provide excellent childcare references and be over 18 years of age.

Choice Affairs
Choice Affairs is an extremely popular series of fundraising events that take place during the months of April, May and June. A veritable smorgasbord of approximately 30 separate events, Choice Affairs requires the assistance of many volunteers every year for a wide variety of tasks. Tasks range from organizing, brainstorming, and event set-up to contributing a Choice Affair of your own. Available in Santa Barbara.

Public Affairs Intern
Public Affairs' Interns will raise their social awareness and obtain the leadership skills necessary to empower them to work in the reproductive rights movement. Under the close supervision of the Vice President of Public Affairs of PPSBVSLO students with a strong commitment to reproductive health care issues who demonstrate an understanding of the significance of political action, will obtain the expertise and organizing skills necessary to expand existing grass roots organizing efforts throughout the tri-counties. Available in Santa Barbara.
