SUMMARY:
Assume
responsibility, in the absence of the Center Director,
for a multi-service clinic providing reproductive health
care and surgical services. Assists Center Director in
all aspects of patient services, including patient flow,
hiring, training, evaluation, firing, and scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3 years experience working in a health
care setting; MA and management experience a plus.
Knowledge of reproductive health care. Skills necessary
include: organization, management, community relations,
finance, computer skills, including Word and Excel,
strong written and verbal communications skills. Strong
commitment to mission, policies and goals of agency.
Knowledge of community desired. Ability to work
independently and as a member of a team. Strong
interpersonal skills. Bilingual preferred. Must have
own reliable transportation.

SUMMARY:
Directs a
multi-service program which provides reproductive health
care services and abortion services. Responsible for
recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation of
clinic staff. Responsible for all fiscal aspects of
clinic services. In consultation with the Vice President
of Clinical Services, is responsible for related
activities, including clinic volunteer activities, where
applicable. Member of the clinical services management
team. Must have strong commitment to the mission,
policies, and goals of Planned Parenthood.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA or equivalent
experience plus two years management experience in a
health care setting, preferably one which provided
abortion services. Skills necessary: organization,
management, community relations, finance, written and
verbal communications. Strong commitment to mission,
policies and goals of agency. Knowledge of community
preferred. Must be flexible and have a sense of humor.
Ability and willingness to travel. Must have valid
California Driver’s license, insurance and own
reliable transportation.

attitude is required. Computer skills are mandatory

Clinicians

SUMMARY:
The
non-physician clinician works in collaboration with
other members of the health care team to provide quality
routine reproductive care to Planned Parenthood female
and male patients in accordance with PPSBVSLO protocols.
Provides the following services: basic family planning
and performs gestational pelvic exams. Other services
include male services, midlife services, inserting IUDs,
Norplant and fitting cervical caps, performing external
cryotherapy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
R.N.
license valid in CA. Current CPR certification. Current
ACLS certification or willing to obtain certification
required. Ability to relate to women and men of diverse
backgrounds in potentially stressful situations; perform
lab screening and vital assessment.
Requires strong commitment
to mission, policies and goals of the agency. Family
planning experience desirable. Bilingual
English-Spanish desirable.

SUMMARY:
Coordinate, supervise and implement a
community sexuality education program for youth,
parents, professionals and other adults in the county or
designated geographic area. Supervision of staff who
present educational programs for teens and young adults,
particularly those at higher risk, and for parents and
professionals. Advocate and serve as liaison with
schools and other human service agencies for sexuality
health education programs. Develop new community
contacts and maintain existing programs. Expand
community educational offerings by developing new
programs under the direction of the Director of
Education. Manage local components of education grants,
including completing reports, attending grant meetings,
assisting with proposal writing and financial reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
B.A. in education or relevant field
preferred. Two years teaching/training experience within
school, youth, or other human service agency setting.
Supervisor/coordinator experience preferred. Commitment

Planned Parenthood. Professional appearance and
attitude. Ability to demonstrate mature judgment,
initiative and critical thinking. Desire and ability to
supervise adults and work with youth, parents, teachers,
and other professionals. Excellent communication
skills, including writing and public speaking. Ability
to work independently. Willingness to work evening and
weekend hours. Knowledge of reproductive health and
sexuality preferred. Cultural sensitivity and ability to
understand and relate to people of all ages and
socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. Spanish/English
bilingualism preferred/required in some areas.
Knowledge of program development, management and
supervision required. Computer knowledge and skills
required. Valid CA driver's license and access to
personal transportation.
